Ferdinand Belliveau, 76, died Thursday night at The Moncton Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Born at Belliveau Village, he was a son of the late Eloi and Dométhilde (Hébert) Belliveau. He was a carpenter by trade and resided most of his life in the United States.

His first wife, the former Anita Robichaud, died years ago. He is survived by his second wife, the former Irène LeBlanc; a daughter, Elodie Belliveau, Hartford. Conn.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Aldéo Renaud (Marie Reine), Moncton; two step-sons. Donald and Bernard LeBlanc, both of Pré-d'en-Haut; four sisters, Mrs. Juliette Camire and Mrs. Bernadette Camire, both of the United States, Mrs. Lilianne LeBlanc, Windsor, Ont., and Mrs. Auréa Cahill, Kitchener, Ont.; four brothers, Joseph, Moncton, Clarence, Philip and Treffle Belliveau, all of the United States, eight grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The body is at the Dupuis funeral home, Memramcook. Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the Notre Dame de l’Annonciation Roman Catholic Church„ Pré d'en Haut.
